It’s not uncommon for constituents to assume that the Labour City Council is responsible for all areas and services in Lincoln, which is unfortunately incorrect.  Lincolnshire is a two-tier authority, which means key areas of responsibility fall under the Tory County Council.  Quite often complaints regarding matters such as roads, public transport, adult care services and schools are not under the control of Labour councillors and more often than not we actually agree with the people who are complaining!

The Tory controlled County Council sits on millions of pounds of unallocated funding. Use the chart below to identify the areas that matter to you or you feel could be better, then use your vote accordingly to put in Labour councillors who have a clear plan to unlock funding and improve local services.
