A Bit About Me

Since living in Lincoln I have sought to get involved in the community and make a difference. Currently I’m a volunteer for a local foodbank where we work to send food parcels to those in need across the city. In addition to this I have worked hard to foster positive community relations between students in Lincoln and the wider community.

Why I’m Standing For Swallowbeck and Witham

I believe in fighting for the best deal for this Community and currently I do not believe the existing Tory County Councillors are delivering for you.  Year after year they receive the vote in this constituency and year after year local services are reduced and reduced.  It has left our NHS on its knees to the extent that Lincoln County Hospital ended up on the national news because it was struggling to cope during the pandemic.  This is a direct result of it being starved of cash and proper recruitment for years.  Enough is enough.

Services across the County are closing.  Foodbanks and the cash strapped City Council had to step in to feed vulnurable school children during the pandemic after Tory County Councillors refused to acknowledge the true extent of the problem.

This is all despite the Tories sitting on millions of pounds of unallocated County Council funding.

A New Direction

For too long Government cuts and a lack of investment have impacted our services. We need a new direction that puts people first and allows us all to live in a community that we feel safe in and can take pride in. If elected I will represent you and put these values at the heart of everything I do.

As your County Councillor I will fight for:

  • A community led approach to tackling issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour
  • Improving social care so our elderly grow old with dignity
  • Reliable and affordable Public Transport
  • A ‘Fair Tax’ County Council – ensuring public service suppliers aren’t dodging taxes

If you share my desire for a better, fairer Lincolnshire, please vote for me on May 6th.
