A Bit About Me
Minster Ward has been the home of my family for four generations and I am proud to have lived here all my life. Our community means a lot to me because it has given me so much – friends, childhood memories, a safe place to learn and my first experience of work. I believe our community should be represented by someone who lives here – a local voice for local people.
Ensuring Your Voice Is Heard
I have worked closely with Councillor Naomi Tweddle over the past four years and having listened to residents across the ward, I share many of your concerns. If elected as your City Councillor, I will:
- Work with Cllr Tweddle to continue to improve communication between you and your city council.
- Promote investment in parking provisions and other community projects to encourage business growth in our part of the city.
- Protect and maintain our local environment for future generations.
Despite a dramatic reduction to the city council’s funding over the past decade and the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the council is still here for you. If you elect me as your City Councillor, I will be a relentless advocate for you, your family and your business, because our vibrant community matters.
